Surf Skate Clothing - Cool Bands
Our cool band of the month is Kynduvme
from Long Island, NY
Kynduvme
hails from Long Island, and they are bringing
new light to the genre of indie and emo music.
Kynduvme provides pleasant harmonies, supported
by an alternative undertone, which combines for
quite the easy listen. The four songs on the EP
were a compilation of the groups upcoming
release, as well as two songs from the B-side of
the Kynduvme Vault, which is conveniently
located at www.kynduvme.com.
The first track, "Don't Put Your Head On
My Shoulder," lets the listener know that
Kynduvme can rock out. This song proves
Kynduvme's essence as emo and indie rock. It
provides a splash of REM and Weezer, combining
for an upbeat sound.
The second song, "Bad Week," is a
positive and jovial jam highlighted by a
keyboard solo, and awe-inspiring chords. It's an
all-around great song.
Their third song, "Trampoline," is
the song that should be on the radio. It
provides a happy-go-lucky attitude, with beats
and drums that just want to make you dance. This
track is my vote for "Local Artist Single
of the Week."
Next is "The Martian Song", and it
proves to be as smooth and sound as the rest. It
makes you want just get up and dance to those
Martians. No it doesn't, but if it could, that
would be really cool! Actually, it's a pretty
rocking jam.
